Sikara & Co. - Supply Chain Intern; Austin, Texas

This spring, I have started as a supply chain intern for a jewelry company called Sikara & Co. Working for Sikara has been a great learning experience because I have been able to gain experience in supply chain management. I am in the process of learning Logic Mate, which is an inventory software designed for the jewelry industry. I am helping the company move forward in the process of updating their inventory system to be as efficient as possible. 

Students of the World -Marketing and Events Intern; Austin, Texas

In the summer of 2012, I worked for a non-profit as a marketing and events intern. I was in charge of the company's social media calendars and responsible for keeping the company's twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest accounts up to date. One of my Facebook posts became the most viral post in the company's history and increased the page's popularity by 11 percent. In addition, I assisted the company in planning its biggest event of the year. 

 Westlake High School - Assistant Summer Volleyball Coach; Austin, Texas

I have helped coach a summer volleyball camp at Westlake High School for the past three summers. I used to play volleyball at Westlake and I have maintained good relationships with the coaching staff. This coaching position allowed me to gain experience in fundraising by selling t-shirts to help pay for the camp. Also, I really enjoy keeping up with the sport since I no longer play on a team.
